Measured across 325 number-to-next-draw pairs in this lottery’s own history. Those two figures being the same is the answer to both “it’s hot” and “it’s due”: the machine has no memory of last week.
- Over the last 66 draws, 64 came up 9 times and 23 came up 1. A fair draw would average 4.8 each, and a spread this size is what randomness looks like at this sample size.
- Too few draws so far for the fairness test to say anything worth reading. It appears once the history is long enough.
- A number that came up in one draw came up again in the next one 6.5% of the time. Any number at all appears 7.2% of the time. Those two being the same is the answer to "is it hot?" and to "is it due?" — the draw has no memory of what it did last week.
