A Dear ticket reads like 73G 69563: a serial, a series letter and five digits. The first prize goes to one exact ticket; the same five digits under any other serial or series win the consolation prize.
3
Choose your five digits
The five digits alone play the second prize, and the last four play the third, fourth and fifth prizes, where most of the winning happens.

No. It is a bet on the result the Nagaland and Sikkim State Lotteries draw, shaped like the printed ticket. Quick Lotto draws nothing: every ticket is settled on the published result.
How is the result checked?
The governments publish their results only as scanned sheets. We read the result from two independent publishers and pay only when they print the same numbers; if they differ, a person checks the government sheet before anything is paid.
When are the Dear lottery draws?
Every day: Nagaland at 1 PM and 8 PM, and Sikkim at 6 PM, India time.
